The Aspera Team

Ken Bell, CFA, CFP, MBA
Ken brings more than three decades of experience in investment management and financial planning, with expertise spanning research, portfolio management, trading, and asset allocation. Before founding Aspera, Ken led the Equity Department at Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO), where he oversaw $4 billion in equity assets and was ranked among the top U.S. mid-cap growth managers.

Ken earned his MBA from the University of Chicago and is a CFA® Charterholder. Outside the office, Ken is an ultrarunning dad who spends an unnatural amount of time contemplating the markets while running in circles.

Adelyn - S.V.P. of Spell Checking
Our Junior Research Analyst keeps our investment process focused by constantly asking, "What exactly do you do?" She has concentrated her research efforts on the musical theater and crafting industries but is also conducting firsthand analysis of the orthodontic, baking, and fashion sectors. She can find Canada on the map and knows that it's best to spend less than you earn, making her more intelligent than 97% of investment advisers.

Mooji - Stress Management Guru
Mooji means "One who brings joy." It should mean "One who brings the ball, and brings the ball, and brings the ball..." Mooji is in charge of corporate stress management and can often be found performing stress relief techniques on employees, including the Ball Throw Process and the Guess What I Just Rolled In Outside Meditation. Mooji is also in charge of software development and corporate culture.

Indy - Muscle and Associate Operations Manager
Indy is our most recent addition after a 13-month internship. We invested a good deal of time "fostering" a strong working relationship and eventually hired him on full-time to oversee tax and regulatory policy. Indy enjoys gardening, archaeology, and protesting the World Economic Forum. His pronouns are bow/wow.
