Kenneth Bell, CFA, CFP, MBA is the President of Aspera Financial, LLC. He has 17 years of investment management and financial advisory experience, including research, portfolio management, trading, and asset allocation responsibilities at some of the nation’s leading private asset management firms, mutual fund companies, and insurance companies.

As an institutional and independent portfolio manager, Ken has consistently posted top-tier performance rankings. He has developed a reputation for being able to turn around underperforming portfolios and for successfully recognizing and exploiting longer-term trends. As an equity analyst, Ken has conducted fundamental research and valuation analysis on hundreds of companies across all sectors and developed an outstanding track record as a stock picker.

Ken earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1995 with concentrations in analytical finance and accounting. He also holds a B.S. in finance from the University of Connecticut, where he graduated at the top of the business school. He is a CFA® charterholder and a CFP® professional.

Ken is an avid runner, bicycler, home improver, and reader. He has run a half dozen marathons, completed two Ironman triathlons, and bicycled across the country. He lives with his wonderful wife and three “junior analysts” in Cary, North Carolina.
